My mom starts asking what I want for Christmas essentially the day after Halloween. Every year it gets harder and harder to think of gift ideas - especially after being told that a student loan payment, groceries, or a month's rent don't count as Christmas presents. As I've gotten older, my Christmas list has turned into normal, everyday items I can't justify buying during my normal shopping sprees.
